fix
Great pics. Shouldn't the face be open at fix.

I notice Brian Gay set up by placing the club behind the ball with the right arm, the face perpendicular to the target line while standing with weight on the right foot on that perpendicular line. Then he arranges his feet, then pushes the handle foward to fix(with face open now) finally applying the left hand. This is on the Gay/Blake Premium video.

also, when i aim the club at fix and then go back to adjusted address, the clubface is closed. do you recommend leaving it like this and just striving to get back to the impact hand location?

When you returned your Hands to Adjusted Address, you allowed (inadvertantly) your Right Elbow to Move to the Right and away from your body (off-Plane) which Rolled your Right Hand (and Left) and Closed the Clubface. Move your Right Elbow a little Left (toward your body) until your Clubface once again appears square to target.

Don't tell anyone your Right Elbow was out of alignment. If anyone asks, just tell them you were off-balance, or standing on an uneven lie or something.

The first few pics look like . . . HOW TO GRIP IT LIKE A GIRL. If you wanna be a man . . . turn it and burn it.
